POS No Power
UPS checking:
- Check if UPS is working
- Properly working UPS has steady green light on and no beeping sound.
- Beeping sound indicates that there is a problem on the charging system of the UPS.
If UPS is not working properly:
- Unplug all connected devices on UPS and reconnect to main outlet.
For Posiflex POS:
- Check if power light is lit.
- Green indicates that the POS is connected on to the POS adapter
- Blue light indicates that the POS is turned on.
- Blinking green/blue light indicates internal error. Call IT for assistance.
If power light is turned off:
- Check if power light on POS adapter is lit.
- Green light indicates that the POS adapter is working and connected properly into the main outlet.
- No light indicates that the POS adapter is not connected into the main outlet.
- Check power cable connection from adapter to UPS/main outlet.
- If problem still persists, call IT for assistance.
- Blinking green light indicates faulty adapter or internal error on POS. Call IT for assistance.
For HP RP2 POS:
- Check if the power cable is connected properly into the main outlet/UPS.
- Check if the power cable connected into the POS machine is connected properly into the device.
- Remove the cover on the right-hand side facing the POS main display.

Remove cover by pulling up the tab

- Resocket power cable connected into the POS power supply.
- Check if the power adapter is connected properly into the POS main power connector.

If problem still persists, call IT for further assistance.
For Elite POS:
- Check if power adapter power light is lit.
- if not, check power cable connection from the adapter into the main outlet.
- Check if the power adapter is connected properly into the POS connection hub.
- Check if the Type-C connector is connected properly into the connection hub.
- Disconnect the Type-C connector and reconnect it turning on the other side.
Blue circle is the power adapter socket while red is the Type-C connector socket on the POS connection hubIf problem still persists, call IT for further assistance.
